Spooky escape room like game where driving is the core mechanic

Design pillars: 

. Apomorphic

. Psychological scare > jump scare 

. Driving/Drifting should be challenging but masterable

Core Mechanic: purposeful interaction that occurs most frequently

. First-person driving

. Drifting

Secondary mechanics: less frequent interactions 

. Lap timers

. Puzzle-solving

Progression: source of change in game system

. Story interaction

. Getting better at the game

The Fantasy: 

Smoky finds them selfs in an alternate dimension. They are told they can escape if they confess their sins. 

The Experience:

An uncomfortable curiosity that bings flow and self-reflection.
